Our Mission
The Pimlico Merchants Association, Inc.’s (PMA) mission is to grow our community by providing its members with the resources they need to thrive on a daily basis. It is our goal to organize a strong network of local businesses and community partners dedicated to building value for the neighborhood and expanding economic growth.
Our History
PMA formed July 19, 1937 and has been in existence for over 81 years. PMA’s boundaries represent the Pimlico Business District, which stretch along Park Heights from Garrison to Northern Parkway. The PMA works with the Baltimore Development Corporation and is one of ten Retail Business District License areas in the City of Baltimore.
PMA is a diverse group of merchants . Our corridor has more than seventy-two businesses including: barber shops, hair salons, beauty supplies, dental and doctors’ offices, car services, furniture store, cell phone retailers, African/boutique apparel, a bank, including Caribbean eateries and much more.
